Fuzionz Magazine and TV: Elaborate on your newest Novel, ProtoStar, and why you chose this particular title.
Braxton: ProtoStar is the first book in a Trilogy. It's a five part series on the outside, but on the inside, it's a story of heart and accountability. I wanted to write a story for young people and, really, for people in general to be accountable in decisions that they make, in determining that they will be someone, making a path and walking in it, regardless of the circumstances or influences around them and that they decide to stay the course and are willing to accept that it was a right or wrong decision. I think many people make decisions and if they go bad they're not accountable for them. This story talks about that.
"Protostar is a young adult science fiction saga, filled with adventure, innocence, romance and much more. It is a must read, as the book keeps your attention from beginning to end." Fuzionz Magazine
It is available on Amazon, Kindle, Barnes & Noble, Nook and in other book stores .
Fuzionz Magazine and TV: You are such a great inspiration and motivator. What inspirational advice do you give to others?
Braxton: To focus on their dreams and aspirations, thinking on a level higher than what you see in front of you. You have to set the bar and go after it and do the right things to achieve your goals. If you understand, if you tap into the power of God and the things He is guiding you to do, while leading you in the right directions, everything is attainable. When you achieve that, just make sure you pass it on to others along the way.
Fuzionz Magazine and TV: Who has been your biggest inspiration?
Braxton: On this side of Earth, I'd have to say my Uncle has had a lot to do with that; being an example and what he's been through. People have the illusion that celebrities just dropped on earth and that they just walk into a path rather than earning their way. He's done a lot and struggled, especially helping the family to cut through a lot of marketing and businesses. A lot of people will doubt you and discourage you and try to tell you that you can't do something, but he's done an amazing job of walking in his calling and not changing who he was because of what people may have tried to get him to do and he stood faithful to that. So, I think a lot of my encouragement comes from him and even from the women in my life; my mom, my grandmother, who worked hard to provide and to continue to push regardless of circumstances; setting a great example of perseverance for me to continue to do the same types of things.
