Dana, the capital of Bangladesh is one of the poorest cities in the wold. the 8 story factory, Rana Plaza, could not support the weight of all the heavy equipment and the workers. it was firstly built as a 5 story building on unstable foundations then an additional 3 floors were built on top but the top 3 floors were bigger making the building top heavy. Most workers are paid under $3 dollars a day, one of these workers are Nasim, she works in a textiles factory making clothes for mainly a brand called ‘Rivers” (an Australian company). Nazmin can only afford to go home to her village to see her son once a year. she sometimes borrows money to pay her younger brothers education expenses and so she can provide for her son.
