Through video, we’ll be sharing authentic and reflective insights from Olympic Gold medallists, presidents, Nobel Peace Prize winners, CEOs, acclaimed entertainers, record-breaking adventurers… and people who have achieved incredible things, regardless of their level of ‘fame’. But why do so many people feel they haven’t realised their potential? Is it, as adventurer Bear Grylls recently told us, due to the “dream stealers - the people who tell you you’re crazy” and that you aren’t good enough? Is it a lack of education, or opportunities? Are there only a lucky few who have the ‘talent’ or ‘x-factor’ to make it? I believe the real answer is far more prosaic – most people simply don’t know what it actually takes to succeed. Modern society’s reductionist tendencies have led many to try to define one thing that is key to success (in 140 characters or less), resulting in a lot of oversimplified, opinion-based, pop- psychology content. We want to help people understand what it really takes to succeed and thrive. There is a huge opportunity to help young people build the skills and confidence they are going to need to succeed in the future.
