Research Group
Terahertz Innovation Group at UNSW Sydney aims to solve real-world problems with cutting-edge research by partnering with industry partners . The team comprises researchers with multidisciplinary experiences in terahertz , photonics , signal processing , telecommunication , localisation , sensing , imaging and computer networks .
The team develops products including interconnects for short- to medium-range , highcapacity communication systems . The team is also working on high-resolution backscattering devices for single-shot localisation and sensing > 2024 Zhenyi Wang Award for Excellence of outstanding contributions to the Science of Infrared , Millimeter , and Terahertz Waves
