Smith , extends heartfelt thanks to all the participants in the Roundtable Review on Rio 2016 , held on 28 September at the National Racquet Sports Centre in Tacarigua . It was the first time the Ministry committed to initiating such a wide-ranging dialogue on Trinidad and Tobago ' s performance at the Games . The feedback received from all in attendance was outstanding and marks a starting point for further discourse on the matter . Be assured that all your comments were taken on board and will help us all move forward in unison to develop the systems required for excellence at Tokyo 2020 and all other major sporting events at which Trinidad and Tobago is represented .
