Recently I have learned about feed . Of course , this includes carrots and apples . There is also food that needs to have water added to it , such as sugar beet . ' Balancer ' helps keep a horse ’ s diet balanced . Other sorts of feed include chaff and mix . Treats are sometimes given to horses but not very often .
As well as Volunteers , I also go riding . I am almost on Level 2 now . I just need to get my rising trot a bit better first . In riding lessons we normally start with stopping , starting and turning , before moving on to something more interesting , like trotting or going in a circle .
I really like doing stuff at the stables and I can ’ t wait to get my next rosette !

I “ levelled up ”!
I ' m Level 2 now and I have just had my first lesson at this level . There ' s a bit more riding without a leader and more trotting . I had a different horse to usual and giving her a bit less of a tap to go faster was quite hard to get used to .
I ' m really happy to be in Level 2 now because there are new things to learn .

Me on horseback !
