Anxiety
Anxiety is an unpleasant feeling
of uneasiness, fear or worry. It
is normal to feel tense or scared
when facing a challenging or
dangerous situation, but anxiety
becomes a problem when it is
constant and when fears and
worries are getting in the way
of your every day activities and
friendships and preventing you
from enjoying yourself. Lots
of people experience anxiety,
but there are is a wide range of
support to help you! Reach out
to your family or friends if you
feel nervous or worried – they
love you and want to help you to
be as happy as you can be! Find
things that make you feel relaxed
– this might be listening to music,
drawing, reading or anything you
enjoy. When you feel nervous or
worried take some time to do
these relaxing things, to help
you get back on track! There is a
great collection of videos here
by GoZen which help you to
understand anxiety, and teach you
some ways to help cope with it!
