12 TRIBUTES Tori Bush returns to Tributes from two year charity cycle Tori Bush, daughter of Richard the chairman of funeral supplies company Tributes, has returned to the firm’s customer care team following a cycle trip which lasted two years. T ori Bush, daughter of Richard the chairman of funeral supplies company Tributes, has returned to the firm’s customer care team following a cycle trip which lasted two years. Last September, Tori returned from cycling solo around the world, clocking up 25,000 miles on her journey. She visited 33 countries including America, Japan, The Far East, China, and eventually back home through Europe, and Scandinavia. Tori mostly slept in her tent which she pitched in jungles, deserts, beaches, volcanos, OCTOBER 2018 temples and on occasions staying in fire stations and police prison cells. She documented the experience on her travel blog www.littlebluebike.co.uk. Tori did not originally set out to raise money for charity and saw the trip as a personal challenge, but her father Richard decided to set up a fund for her to donate to a charity of her choice on her return. So far this has raised over £3,000 which Tori has given to Cyclists Fighting Cancer which supports children recovering from cancer (www.cyclistsfc.org.uk). Tori’s role currently takes her out on the road visiting prospects and existing customers and she has worked for the family business on and off since her school days. www.funeralservicetimes.co.uk
