SongBird Survival
Help us save the dawn chorus for tomorrow
Songbird numbers have crashed in only one generation. Farmland birds
have halved, some others have fared worse. But is this is all down to farming
techniques and loss of habitat? Much has been done already but numbers of
these beautiful birds don’t seem to be getting any better.
SongBird Survival is funding new research to find out more about the
problems our songbirds face and hope to find ways to reverse the worrying
decline in their numbers. Our research is highlighting many areas of wildlife
management we need to improve. But this is only the tip of the iceberg; there is
so much more we need to learn.
We need your help to continue our vital work to save songbirds for future
generations.

Sue Ryder
Sue Ryder support people through the most difficult times of their
lives. Whether that’s a terminal illness, the loss of a loved one or a
neurological condition – we’re there when it matters.
For over 65 years our doctors, nurses and carers have given
people the compassion and expert care they need to help them
live the best life they possibly can. We take the time to understand
what’s important to people and give them choice and control over
their care. For some this may mean specialist care in one of our
centres, whilst others might need support in their own home.

Tributes
Charitable in memoriam collections are often made online nowadays, but
there are still plenty of donations made at the funeral or wake. Collecting and
processing these can be a headache for funeral directors, taking up precious
time and resources and raising security concerns over cash-handling.
Tributes have two attractive solutions for just this situation. Their Donation
Tube and Donation Box are attractive and discreet ways to display a funeral
collection and can be sealed and handed directly to the family.
The Donation Box is a new concept, designed to provide a place for the
collection and for condolence cards to be placed. After the funeral the family can
keep the box as discreet and attractive storage for sympathy and flower cards,
order of service sheets and, perhaps, a dried flower or two taken from the coffin
spray. It could also hold other small mementos.
