Trick #6: Dividing by 5
Divide: 53 ÷ 5
A fast way to divide a number by 5, is to first multiply that number by 2 and then divide it by 10. So, multiplying 53 by 2, you get 106. Take 106 and divide it by 10, you get 10.6. Easy!
