ABOUT THE HOMEOWNERS?
LA The homeowners are a wonderful family
that have cottaged on the lake for several
generations. The owner’s father built the first
cottage on the point which is still standing
today. He told me stories of growing up
spending summers on the lake which were
wonderful. They are successful entrepreneurs
with young grandchildren and still summer
at the lake with extended family and friends.
They have a keen interest in modern design
but wanted the cottage to reflect the natural
elements of the site and fit into the natural
surroundings. I am very thankful for such a
special commission!
