Think! Shoes
• Stylish • Trendy • Unique • Green
Once you’ve slipped into a pair of Think! shoes and felt the comfort envelop your feet, you will never want to be without a pair again! High end Orthopaedic technology, environmentally friendly, and stylish, are not words that are usually used to describe a pair of shoes, but Think! shoes are so stylish in design that it almost seems too good to be true. Only limited ranges are produced in countries such as Italy, Portugal, Hungary, and most recently, Bosnia – all of which follow EU guidelines on labour and other issues - and are exclusively available in South Africa at our store at the V&A Waterfront. For over twenty years Think! has been manufacturing shoes under the strictest ecological standards, and with the utmost respect for nature and the environment. For us, environmental protection is neither a marketing tool, nor a temporary fashion topic, but the pure conviction and a solid part of our company philosophy. Sustainability is an important basic principle for us. Therefore we produce every shoe under careful consideration of regenerative natural resources. We buy our leathers from certified tanneries in central Europe, which we have proofed in detail regarding the prevailing environmental and social situation, and the leather is only a bi-product of food processing. Compared to the mass production by low cost countries, we make every shoe manually, in the age old tradition, with a lot of love for detail. Think! shoes are made with organic vegetable tanned leather, allowing your feet to breathe, We always use vegetable tanned leather where the foot is in direct contact with the material, and tanning agents are free of toxins and carcinogenic AZO colours. The bark for our tanning agent is extracted from profittree plantations, an intelligent re-use of waste products. No tree from the primeval forest or tropical rain forest has to be cut down for the production of tanning agents. Pure cork is also used which adjusts to the shape of the foot in a perfect, natural and healthy way, providing ultimate comfort. Natural Latex, used in our soles, ensures excellent insulation, has a high abrasion resistance, and is slip proof. The shoes have exchangeable inner soles, should you need to wear orthopaedic insoles. Apart from our respect of raw materials, we attach great importance to environmental friendliness and all our packaging is made of recyclable paper and cardboard. When you purchase a pair of Think! Shoes, you not only make a contribution to the environment, you also indulge and nurture yourself and your feet. Think! Only the best! Quality shoes made with love. You and your feet deserve them!
