Old tire
UPCYCLED
to stylish Ottomon
inspirations
If you’re not afraid of a little creative ‘do-it-yourself’ and would like to make your own ottoman from an old recycled tire - then you’re in luck. I came across this fantastic idea by Nikki on her blog: ‘That Was a What?’. She created this stylish ottoman, using an old discarded tire and some rope. Due to overwhelming interest, Nikki has turned her ottomans into a successful business. She also sells her instructions in a booklet from her blog.

(This site is Brazilian) They have some great step-by-step pictures that give a clear idea on how to go about making it yourself. You will need an old tire, a drill and some screws to fasten 2 circular pieces of hardboard to the tire. Strong glue, a glue gun, and rope will finish it off!
