Maths & Science Marketing (MSM) has recently had a new website, sponsored by the Actuarial Society of South Africa (ASSA), set up from which any Maths or Science high school teacher or learner can download anything they require in Maths & Science for FREE onto a computer, tablet or mobile phone. Each Grade has hundreds of PowerPoint slides with embedded video clips and simulations to illustrate the various concepts. There are also worksheets, tests & exam papers with Memos. There is information on Study Skills as well as links to Universities together with

an explanation of the University points system for those wanting to enrol. To celebrate Mandela Day on Thursday 18 July, promotional materials were sent to 1 000 urban SA high schools, inviting the 3 000 Maths & Science teachers and their 800 000 learners to register and start making full use of all the excellent materials on the website! The idea of MSM & ASSA, is to increase the quality of the Maths & Science passes and thus increase the number of actuaries, engineers, doctors, scientists etc that we will produce in SA over the next 20 to 30 years.
