SKATING NEIGHBORHOODS KNOW YOUR RIGHTS

Events

Planning an event in a neighborhood setting probably not the best of ideas. Nothing will get a hill shut down faster than a large loud and jelouse group of skaters. First ask the neighbors. Open a dialouge to get permission. Nothing works better than being responsible.

All cities and municipalities have ordinances. Some will even address skate- boarding in the community. Unfortunatly it is usualy addressed in a negetive form for the skater. The distinction between longboard and short board are never addressed as well and many ordinances are designed to stop destruction to public and private properties.
