Greg: We’d really like to get to a point where we have 5 or 6 solid awesome races with cash prizes every year down in this region. The skate life isn’t cheap especially if you have to travel. We are working on having some races with significant prize money to entice the out of state longboarders and Canadians. The great thing about Texas & Oklahoma is we have perfect skate weather between October and February while most of the US & Canada is covered in snow. We'd really like to see this area of the country become the place for races during the winter. We want to start having the top racers in the world come to Texas & Oklahoma and compete with our best.

Texas & Oklahoma and compete with our best.

FB: Where does Team NoBull go from here?

Greg: Good question. We are shocked how far we’ve come. I think we struck at the perfect time with the non-corporate pure stoke team idea. We want to keep expanding and keep bringing exposure to one of the greatest sports in the world. We want to find more outlets to tell our story, interviews like this help so much. We want to throw bigger races, faster races at spots and hills and garages that have never seen a race. We want to continue to sponsor races and use our team as a platform to better the scene. We especially want to get more women and groms involved in the sport. All of us, the whole team wants to make a difference. We are all about touching lives and getting them involved. We want to leave the scene a better place just because we were involved.

Richard: We want to travel to more races as a team. Our race team captain Zac Sharp is taking some of our team along with the Carve Van to some of the big races in California, Washington and Canada this summer. We want to start taking podium spots at races everywhere, yet at the same time spread our love for the sport. We get messages every day from all around the world asking how people can join the team, or get stickers or asking for our advices on gear. We love that part of the Team, the stuff no one sees – giving back is what we are all about like Greg said.

Greg: As a team we are all about being safe. We are really big about helmet safety. Over the past 2 years with Carves help we’ve probably outfitted a dozen or so kids with helmets. We have members of the team that are doing really amazing things to help the sport. Guys behind the scenes that don’t get the attention they deserve.

Richard; Guys like Neal Roberts here in Houston and a bunch of Team NoBull guys are involved in Longboarding For Peace. Longboarding For Peace was started by Michael Brooke with Concrete Wave. The guys teach young kids how to longboard every Friday and Saturday. They give their time because of their love for the sport. The Team NoBull members are constantly doing great things to give back to the sport. That’s why they are on the team. That’s what makes longboarding and Team NoBull so special. No egos, no bullshit, just skate.
