don’t tolerate drama or kooks – we support and encourage racing and stoke. If your plan is to just get a shirt and then not do anything to help the team than Team NoBull is not for you. Everyone needs to contribute, that’s what makes the Team great.

Greg: Beyond being longboarding ambassadors we want to use what has been built to bring exposure to our riders and help them be all they can be. It’s common to have our riders get sponsored by a company as a result of the exposure the Team gives them.

FB: So you are a Team of riders, you don’t sponsor riders but you do help them get sponsored?

Richard: We don’t sell anything or make anything, we have no revenue. So when someone asks us to sponsor them we kinda chuckle. A ton of people out there think we are a company, we couldn’t be further from a company. All we try and make is stoke, fun and steeze. We like to view ourselves as not only helping rider’s get exposure but also help the longboarding companies that support the scene get exposurel. When one of our riders gets picked up by a company we immediately blow it up across all of our social networks. When they sponsor one of our races immediately 35,000 longboarders see it. Companies should view us as a place to find really good skaters that race and win while all the time doing great things for the sport. Longboarding companies should also know that when they sponsor a member of Team NoBull they will get the added benefit of exposure from us.

Greg: We are always looking for opportunities to work with longboarding companies in organizing skate trips, races and events. We occasionally have companies hit us up with gear, which always helps with our riders gear expenses! We want to always be growing our contacts and our fan base. We aren’t a sponsor in the traditional sense of the word – we are a team. But we are here for our riders and help when we can with gas money or race registration fees. We have well over 30,000 followers on Facebook, Instagram and Tumblr and its growing everyday thanks to all of our Team NoBull photographers that give us constant content. I have to mention those peeps cuz we couldn’t have all those followers without them. As a Team we tell our story through our constant picture and video flow from our members. I’m talking to Scotty at Carve about maybe getting a Team NoBull blog on their website. I see Team NoBull and Carve doing great things together. My dream is to start doing live streaming video from our races and get more involved in video.

FB: Over 100 members and expanding?

Greg: We have tried to be inclusive and not exclusive. The result of that mantra has been allot of members. The members are a diverse group of racers, freeriders, owners of longboarding companies, photographers, scene supporters, really all types. Within our team there is a definite core group of racers that travel throughout the U.S. and attend events and races. As with anything new we are always trying to figure out how to improve what we have. There are some members that are constantly involved and others that are less involved. Out of the 100 plus members there are probably about 50 that are really involved and “get it”. Those that put a ton into the Team get a ton out of it. We are a family and we definitely have something special here, but we can only keep doing special things if everyone contributes.

Richard: We are always looking to add Groms to help be the next wave of Team NoBull. We also need more women on the team.
