Zone 1: May require predrifting. Use your judgement and create a safe line through this area.

Zone 2: YOU WILL NEED TO PREDRIFT INTO THE FIRST TURN. If you come into this section poorly you will hit the canyon wall, no matter which direction you bail. This is the most intense part of the course. Watch your speed and line going into the second turn as well. Both turns are somewhat blind, so keep that in mind.

With the absence of the Buffalo Bill Downhill race in Colorado it makes perfect sence that someone would pick up the tourch and run with it. Thomas Vereline has done just that with the Cheyenne Canyon Downhill Race.

Let us state now that this race is totaly in the planning and permit stages. The recent flooding issues in Colorado have washed out some of the road and rebuilding of the road must take place first.

The race is being penciled in for Mid June 2014 or Mid July of 2014. All hopes are is that this comes together and this can be added to your Downhill race dance cards as a must attend event not to miss.
