A lot of my work is done for Omen Longboards and Motion Boardshop. But I haven't really got my big break yet. Being in an area where it rains 75% of the year it really makes it hard to attract some really big riders out to the area and take some photos of them, which would be noticed by their respective sponsors. But I am really grateful for all the opportunities that I have been given already.

I was in your neck of the woods in the navy and I know what you mean about the rain. It has to be tough to set up a good shoot?

For sure, a lot of it is making sure riders have time to come out for a couple of riders and get a couple of photos. But a lot of it is working around the weather. Living around here you really learn to appreciate the good weather and take full advantage of it.

Omen and Motion Boardshop are pretty decent accounts to shoot for. I know longboard photographers in the heartland that would love that opportunity. Any memorable shoots you can relate?

Probably my first shoot with Zach Miller, which was the first time I was paid to shoot. It was an incredible experience. Not only was I able to shoot such an incredible skater but I got my first taste at what it would be like to do it for a living.
