IMI 4MW PEM ELECTROLYSER BOOSTS GREEN HYDROGEN PRODUCTION AT API SARPO
Resilienza( National Recovery and Resilience Plan), this initiative aims to produce green hydrogen using energy generated by two photovoltaic fields located within the refinery. These fields will deliver an estimated annual production of more than 8,500 MWh of renewable energy.

DANFOSS IC7 SERIES POWERS NEW ELECTRIC FERRY‘ NERTHUS
The newly launched electric ferry Nerthus sets sail, featuring Danfoss Drives’ latest iC7 series as a key part of its all-electric propulsion system, highlighting Danfoss’ strong role in the green transition of maritime transport.
Danfoss provides not only essential components for the ferry’ s electric drivetrain but also parts of the shoreside charging infrastructure.
The Nerthus e-ferry uses Danfoss’ iC7-Marine solution, an engineered-to-order system tailored to the unique demands of marine applications. It runs on 100 %
Hydrogen will be produced by a 4 MW PEM electrolyser designed and built by IMI, which will be installed in a decommissioned area of the refinery previously used for hydrocarbon storage. This area will be revitalised, aligning with the regional funding guidelines. The estimated annual production is at least 167 metric tons of renewable hydrogen, which will replace a portion of the non-renewable hydrogen currently used in refining processes. Courtesy of IMI.

Sungrow, a global leading inverter and Energy Storage System( ESS) supplier, announced a new strategic distribution partnership with PM Service S. p. A., a prominent Italian provider of renewable energy solutions. The agreement includes the purchase of 100 units of the ESS PowerStack to be delivered throughout 2025. Sungrow’ s PowerStack is a fully integrated, modular ESS designed for commercial and industrial( C & I) applications.
Delivered will be the newest edition of the ESS, PowerStack 255CS, that offers flexible power capacities— 257kWh( 2-hour) or 514kWh( 4-hour)— along with over 90 % round-trip efficiency. Fully integrated with PCS, EMS, and BMS, it ensures seamless operation across a range of scenarios, including standalone ESS, PV + ESS, EV chargers + ESS, and microgrids.
Moreover, the PowerStack features advanced liquid cooling technology, high energy density, and intelligent battery management for enhanced safety and performance. With its plug-and-play design and flexible scalability, it is engineered to meet the evolving needs of energy storage projects, from peak shaving and load shifting to grid support and renewable integration. GRENERGY PURCHASES 2 GW OF INVERTERS FROM SPANISH COMPANY INGETEAM FOR OASIS DE ATACAMA
Grenergy has just signed a new agreement with the Spanish company Ingeteam to supply approximately 1 GW of inverters( 298 units) for phases 4 and 6 of the Oasis de Atacama project, known as Gabriela and Elena.
This order strengthens the collaboration between the two companies, which have already worked together on the three previous phases of the project. In total, it amounts to 2 GW with 610 inverters( 410 battery and 200 photovoltaic), all integrated into 305 energy transformation centres. It also includes the PPC( Power Plant Controller) plant control system and commissioning services.
Grenergy and Ingeteam have maintained a strategic relationship since 2016, with joint projects developed in key markets such as Chile, Spain, Mexico, and Colombia. This collaboration consolidates Grenergy’ s commitment to leading technology partners in Europe, while promoting innovation in the energy sector.
With more than 3.5 GW of joint projects, Ingeteam has established itself as a strategic partner for Grenergy thanks to its leadership in R & D and cutting-edge technology. Recognised worldwide in Grid Forming, this innovation is key to integrating renewable energies into increasingly decarbonised electricity grids, allowing inverters to function as synchronous generators and provide stability, synthetic inertia and regulation capacity to the grid.
In line with this, Grenergy reinforces its commitment to the national and European industry by collaborating with leading manufacturers, promoting a local supply chain and sustainable growth in the energy sector on the continent. Courtesy of Grenergy.
