Ramsay, who brings with him over 30 years of industry experience previously worked with Mobil and BP. More recently he was director of retail for Gulf where he was instrumental in building the brand to over 500 stations. Delighted to be back in ‘frontline retail’, Ramsay said: “The foundations are solid, the recently announced high profile MPK deal was a defining moment and the development of Elton Green will allow us to show prospective customers exactly how Essar can work for their businesses.” • The addition of 11 MPK sites in late 2018 brought the total number of Essar outlets to 67 with all 11 sites rebranded to Essar colours within a 48-hour timescale. With 15 years’ experience in commercial and customer facing roles in retail and midstream fuel supply, Sue takes over from Jo McDonnell who is now UK fleet sales manager for BP’s fuel card operation. Gary Oliver On 1st January 2019, Alan Dodson was appointed as managing director of Suckling Transport. Alan takes over from Jesus Ciria who will remain in the UK until the summer before returning to Barcelona to take over responsibility for SBG’s Spanish business. Fort Vale Engineering has appointed Graham Blanchard to the post of European sales director. Blanchard has been with the company for 20 years and is well versed in Fort Vale’s product range. Andrew Bishop, formerly sales and marketing director, is moving over to Riggs Autopack, an associate company, where he has been appointed general manager. Vincenzo Aguda is now regional sales manager at World Fuel Services. Ian Hodge is now managing director at the CTSL Group of companies. ‘This sees a small change in the Roger Parr name Complete Tank Solutions shortened to CTSL and a change in responsibility for me,’ said Ian who started Complete Tank Solutions Limited in March 2006. In December 2018 Tim Shepherd started a new position as group customer relationship director at Wright Express European Services (WEX). Certas Energy has appointed Dalbinder Ram as senior business development manager, national accounts. With effect from December, Gerd Peters has resumed the position of chief financial officer of the HOYER Group.
