lugston Distribution currently has six local apprentices
undertaking a comprehensive four-year programme within the
company’s commercial vehicle maintenance division.
And, as this school year came to a close, the Scunthorpe-based
logistics service provider was looking to take on the next generation of
talented vehicle technicians.
Throughout their training apprentices are offered continual
development of their skills, the opportunity to undertake residential off-
site training and the chance to receive ongoing coaching in matters such
as ADR and DVSA.
“Apprenticeships are an excellent way to achieve a qualification
without incurring student debt, and to ‘earn while they learn’, said
distribution director Tim Doggett.
“In over 80 years of trading, Clugston’s success has been driven by
its people, with apprenticeships being just one of the opportunities we
offer.”
