“In fuelling environments, trip hazards can cause injuries but these can
be avoided by the right choice of accessories when buying a pump,”
says Hytek’s group marketing manager, Nick Burke.
The simple addition of a hose reel can prevent hoses trailing across
workshops and fuelling areas. Hytek’s range covers air, grease, water
and a wide variety of fuels, including Adblue, diesel and oil. Available
with a choice of specifi cations cased or open, with or without hose, reels
are available in stainless steel or powder coated, with next day delivery
available.
The addition of a high-hose mast is a cost-effective way to
increase the reach of a fuelling hose without resorting to trailing it on
the ground. Additionally, a high-hose system can enable vehicles to
refuel even when the fi ller port is located on the opposite side to the
pump.
The addition of a 3-Channel Tank Alarm to a tank can help
prevent multiple types of accident. High-level alarms can alert a driver
immediately to an impending over-fi ll incident with a bund alarm
alerting staff in the case of an internal breach enabling immediate
action to be taken to prevent wider contamination.
Spill kits for fuel, oil and AdBlue are the perfect backup. Available
as 20 or 40 litre spill kits for small spills, or larger 80 to 200 litre bin kits
for fuelling areas, these systems protect staff and the environment.
Frequently placed near fuel islands, and in workshops, these kits can
save customers thousands in fi nes from the Environment Agency.

Meet Jim……
Carbery Production Manager, Jim Hunt has overseen the production of thousands
of tanks during the past 35 years. Jim knows when you’re making a safety critical
product, you don’t take chances. And you don’t take short cuts.
Jim insists every Carbery tank isn’t just manufactured in an ISO 9001 accredited
plant. He also demands every tank produced on his watch, exceeds the requirements
of OFTEC’s OFS T100 Standard, is guaranteed EN 13341 compliant, and is subjected
to demanding, multi-stage production checks before dispatch.
If Jim’s not happy, the tank doesn’t leave the factory. And if he is, it benefits from an
industry-leading, manufacturer-backed, warranty as standard.
Quite simply, Jim and his team wouldn’t have it any other way .
