Additionally, the company has built up a growing gas
bottle business which continues to attract new customers,
and has also established a good working relationship with a
number of third-party companies.
Andy, who still likes to keep his hand in with tanker
driving, is ably assisted in the office by Lisa, now his wife, and
recent recruit, Heather both of whom work full time.
“Working alongside Lisa has been a great help in growing
the Sodbury Fuels business,” said Andy.
“Lisa and I have a great partnership both in and out of
the office......well most of the time – but I can honestly say
that without Lisa by my side, Sodbury Fuels would certainly
not be where it is today. Despite battling with illness Lisa
is100% committed to Sodbury Fuels.
“We pride ourselves on good customer service with office
staff and drivers always willing to go that extra mile to help
a customer. I do believe that much of our repeat business is
down to our exceptional customer service rather than to price.
“Personally, my key highlights over the past five years
have always been the lovely emails and comments that we
receive from customers – they make us realise why we get up
every day and do what we do!”
A real community player, Sodbury Fuels supports many
local events including Music in the Street during carnival
weeks and the Sodbury beer festival with the local school
using the company’s van as their carnival float.
“The Sodbury Fuels’ team has been on a great journey
over the past five years and we would like to take this
opportunity to thank Mark Nolan for giving us this great
opportunity. We look forward to growing the business further
over the next five years.”
