SUMMER 2026 / FSUMED 49
Orlando
Mark Chaet, M. D. Dean, Orlando Regional Campus
The Orlando Regional Campus M. D. Class of 2027 had the opportunity to volunteer at Timber Creek High School where they organized a hands-on medical experience workshop for 70 students in the Biomedical program. The workshop featured four engaging stations: suturing, clinical skills, neurology / psych and a medical student panel Q & A. The experience was incredibly rewarding, serving as both a meaningful opportunity to give back to the community and a poignant reminder of their own journey.
Thanks to our hosts, Orlando Regional Campus Community Board Member Maureen Brockman and Chris Brockman, along with nearly 40 attending FSU alumni and supporters, the event was a great success. The Soiree was an intimate evening with FSU tailgate-themed food, renewed connections, intriguing conversation and a captivating presentation focused on FSU, the College of Medicine and FSU Health.
Dean Chaet gave an enlightening overview of the work being done at the college, the involvement of local physicians and clinical providers, the contribution the campus makes to the community, and the progress around FSU Health.

Seminoles together in Orlando
On Feb. 5, Orlando Regional Campus leadership was thrilled to be part of Seminole Soiree, the first in a series of events meant to inform local FSU alumni and friends, cultivate support for the College of Medicine in Orlando and enhance recognition of the work being done by the college in the local community.
