Each box includes household and self-care essentials, menstrual health resources and reproductive health education, and information on local support services and free healthcare options in Pensacola. Through this project students hope to help reduce stress for these young adults during a major life transition and promote long-term wellness and community connection.

The healing arts
Regional Campus Dean Paul McLeod, M. D., presented the 2025 Outstanding Educator Award to Stephanie Taunton, M. D. Taunton practices emergency medicine.
M3 students Naoosha Mohammad and LiAna Patterson.
FSU College of Medicine medical students Naoosha Mohammad and LiAna Patterson are collaborating with the Respite Program at First United Methodist Church in Pensacola for an Arts in Medicine service project supporting individuals living with dementia. Their project uses creative expression through arts and crafts to encourage participant engagement, promote emotional connection and foster meaningful interaction in a supportive community setting. In addition to the experience itself, the art projects will serve as lasting keepsakes for participants and their loved ones.
