Hands-On Learning Students at the Florida State University College of Medicine get extraordinary hands-on experience. For example, the Summer Clinical Practicum, after their first year, lets them spend three weeks with a community physician. They see many patients from elder, rural, minority and medically underserved populations. Students and mentors love this program. One student said SCP taught him to learn medicine in a real-life setting, but also “to know I had the potential to get so much better.” To keep it going, we need your help. Private support, through large gifts and small, is vital for providing the experiences that prepare our alumni to address critical community health needs. Please support our mission. Your help makes a difference.
