As she grew into a teenager Irina said “When I had thoughts and feelings that my parents did not understand me, I would write them a letter and leave it on the kitchen table.  Writing was my form of communication and allowed me to express myself freely." During the process of writing these letters she decided communication is key to successful relationships and expressing your feelings in any form you are comfortable with is of the utmost importance.

Irina was a gymnast for over nine years of her life, competing in Romania, Hungary and Austria.  "It was not always easy, I faced struggles and conquered them.  Held fears and learned how to let go of them, fell many times and learned how to get back up and fight for what you want to achieve."  She had a passion inside her that motivated nothing less than excellence.

Toward the beginning of her career they were making group selections for the gymnastics team.  She was placed in the second group with the “not so talented” kids.  Irina was determined to achieve status in the first group.  After a month of hard work she met her goal and moved up to that first group.  That was the exact moment in her life she realized, "if you want something, anything, go for it but also know in your heart you need to work very hard and the sky is the limit."  During her competition years at the national and international levels, she held gold, silver and bronze medals.

After the medals, life tossed a lot of bumps in the road in front of her.  What is amazing about Irina Erwin she always remembered the experience that dreams do come true as long as you have dreams.  "Always overcome your current situation and never settle for less," she never gave up hope, faith or her dreams.  After taking her own advice, she realized if she could overcome the unknown and live her dreams, others could to and she wanted to be the one to teach them.  Now she started the wheels turning on how to reach people and how to teach them.

Her journey led her to moving to the United States and studying with her mentor the late Jim Rohn, she made the choice to teach others how to bring the dreams inside them out into life, make them a reality and live them.  She truly loves what she is doing and has helped thousands of people to date, with clients ranging from the stay at home mom to vice presidents of financial institutions and every walk of life in between.  Some of her clients are on the other side of the US and she has never met them face to face, where other clients meet with her on a weekly basis in her New York City office.  This is the perfect career choice for this motivational speaker, dream activist and amazing person.

The Story of a

Life Coach

From Gymnastics and glory to helping others find and achieve their dreams Irina Erwin knows only that the sky is the limit.  I had the pleasure of sitting down with Irina Erwin (The NYC Life Coach) to learn about the world of a life coach and how this career came to be. Irina Erwin born in the Transylvania region of Romania found at a young age of five and a half years old, a love for gymnastics. She was only in third grade during the Romanian revolution.  As a small child she watched the news reports on television.  She began to write about what exactly she was seeing, an interpretation of her surroundings threw the eyes of a child.  This action made her realize she had dreams and wanted to achieve them at any cost.
