the representative
of District 5 on
the board of city
commissioners for
the City of Miami.

Overtown, Liberty
City, Little Haiti,
Wynwood,
Spring Garden, the
Design District, the
Upper Eastside,
and many other
neighborhoods.
Commissioner Hardemon
is a native Miamian and
was born in the James E.
Scotts public housing
community in Liberty City.
After graduating from
Miami Northwestern
Senior High School, he
attended Florida Agricultural
and Mechanical University in
Tallahassee, Florida.
At FAMU, he was a member of
Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity
Incorporated and served
the FAMU student body
in a myriad of appointed
and elected positions.
