Life Sciences
Chris has been with Intel for more than 15 years
and was formerly both product and security
architect in Intel’s Digital Health division. In
this role, he was the chief architect for several
products such as Care Connect and Integration
Services for the Intel Health Guide. Mr. Gough has
been an active member of the Continua Health
Alliance and was one of the lead contributors
to the end-to-end system architecture and
interoperability guidelines. He holds a bachelor of
science in computer science from the University
of California at San Diego. Chris is a regular
blogger for the Intel Healthcare Community and
has recently published several whitepapers and
case studies regarding advances in healthcare
cloud computing.
Steve Fischer
CIO, Center
for Diagnostic
Imaging (CDI)
Center for Diagnostic Imaging merged with
Insight Imaging to form a radiology organization
with more than a hundred imaging centers
offering outpatient ambulatory imaging
services, working with more than 300 hospitals
in 24 states. Steve joined CDI in 2001 and as
CIO has been responsible for the integration
of their data centers with a VNA that permits
access across the entire system of imaging
centers, hospitals, and referring physicians. CDI
is a leader in the use of Big Data to provide
input to their clinical decision support system.
