CROSS ENTERPRISE APPROACH
In this strategy, image data is stored in federated repositories across the enterprise, indexed
in a manner that permits a global worklist. This can prevent the immediate need to rip and
replace systems (even if that is your long-term intention). The enterprise-wide worklist offers
benefits in setting priorities and assigning studies in a way that can enhance productivity.
