next step: create a winning team

Ok - let me start with the obvious.

This designer wasn't winning team material ... but I had to pay up and go through the expierence to learn exactly what I needed.

Clipart clearly wasn't it.

But the layout (my work) still has merit.

Then again, I'm clearly biased here.

Here's the idea behind it. Most of us opperate like lone wolves. We feel the need to control every element of the work and do it our way (yup, just lke the song). But chances are we give up, head toward the nearest exit, or stay stuck doing the same things over and over - as our world gets flooded with endless to-do's ...

UNLESS...

We chose to bring in a winning team!

Here’s the recommended list of people to have on your team:

The cheerleaders aka support team.

The prefects aka the accountability team.

The expert aka coach / mentor (may be multiples).

Those in the know AKA The advice panel.

The fill in the blanks skillset (as needed).

The big picture thinker AKA Head Coach

& YOU.

The thing that baffles me is just how much people ojbect to the idea of bringing in a team.

If you are one of them, I'd like to invite you to look at that.

Are you a lone wolf?

Do you think it's going to cost you a fortune?

Do you think they'll take over?

Notice whatever blocks come up.

The biggest reason why people fear bringing in the calvary is becuase it means commitment. It means being accountable to another person and actually having to do the work.
