Students echoes… Feelings, thoughts and opinions as a follow up of the blended mobility in PORTUGAL.
For me, Erasmus + ”In A Far Away Land: Refugee Children” was a very important experience. I think it will help me a lot in the future. Why was it so important to me? It helped me develop my communication skills by talking with the students from other countries. It also helped me realize that if I am going to be shy forever I will just be another brick in the wall. Leaving all behind, being part of this project, I got the chance to go to Portugal, where I met different people from other countries (Turkey, Greece, Italy and Portugal of course). In Portugal, in Faro, the city structure was very interesting. The buildings were very beautiful. Faro’s cathedral fascinated me the most. The group that I spent most time with was the Turkish one. We stayed in the same hostel and we actually got along in a drop of a hat. I am glad that I was chosen to take part in such an amazing project. This project helped me a lot to accomplish a lot of goals and it is going to help me in the future.
This project also made me think about serious matters such as the REFUGEE CRISIS IN EUROPE. I want to get involved more, to be active in the integration of refugees. We are all the same, equal people with equal rights, we all deserve to live in peace. To conclude, it was great, I could write a book! Thank you for this experience! By Iordachescu George-Cristiann

Refugees in LITERATURE
.
11
February – June 2017
Reading about refugees is a constant activity of our project. We keep informing, because their stories are true lessons for us – lessons of courage, integrity, understanding, forgiveness, loyalty and humanitY. After the presentation about refugees in literature, the one you all could see in Greece, we made a local magazine that includes famous retold stories – like MALALA, poems, songs, quotes, information about authors who were once refugees, graphic novels, books for children. We keep forever in our mind and souls Malala’s quote.
The project is permanently disseminated and presented in our school and other schools from Ramnicu Valcea, during contests, exhibitions, symposiums, round tables, teacher and student meetings. Some events are:
The National Contest MADE FOR EUROPE – March 2017 – Students from Colegiul Energetic won the 3rd price for the computer and phone app – MYTHS AND FACTS ABOUT REFUGEES.
