On and Off the Field
Fine arts programs teach students lessons in music and life.
Learning to stand in line and follow di-
rection is a life skill learned early. Learning
to march in a line or direct that line is a
leadership skill modeled throughout
Frisco ISD, and once marching season is
over, the emphasis on leadership develop-
ment continues in a very intentional way.
Band teaches self-discipline, commit-
ment and team spirit. It helps develop
emotional intelligence.
It also builds great leaders and pas-
sionate followers who recognize good
leadership. It is visible
