Cindy Estrup joined NWTC as dean of Public Safety in March 2021 . She has over 20 years of leadership experience in corrections , emergency management , probation , and community and campus policing . Estrup came from University of Wisconsin-Green Bay where she was emergency manager and special project sergeant . She held previous roles as police officer and criminal justice instructor for the Wisconsin Technical College System . In addition to numerous instructor field-related certifications , Estrup holds a Master of Science in education counseling from University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh and an MBA from University of Wisconsin-Whitewater .
Jill Thiede started at NWTC in June 2020 as associate dean of Trades and Engineering Technologies . Thiede is part of the third generation of women in her family to work within Wisconsin ’ s manufacturing industry , bringing over 30 years of industry experience to NWTC . She joins us from Paper Converting Machine Company where she was strategic account manager , developing the Accelerate Team that brought Industry 4.0 solutions to improve customer efficiencies and productivity . Before then , Thiede held roles at Procter & Gamble and Rockwell Automation . She has an MBA from the University of Cincinnati and a bachelor ’ s degree in science and engineering from University of Wisconsin-Madison .
John Reinders became associate dean for the College of Business in June 2020 . Reinders began his NWTC career in 2001 as an instructor in the Print Technology program . In 2012 , he moved to the Design and Graphic Technology program . During his time at NWTC , Reinders has served as co-chair of the ACBSP accreditation team , lead faculty member , and faculty chair of the 8-Week Advantage program . Prior to NWTC , he held various positions within printing and graphic design companies throughout the local area .
Ryan Gilbert was appointed associate dean of Public Safety in June 2019 . Gilbert began his career at NWTC in 2016 as an instructor , bringing with him over 28 years of field experience in roles such as chief of police and emergency medical technician for the Mishicot Area Ambulance Service . Gilbert is a graduate of the FBI National Academy and holds a master ’ s degree in organizational performance and a bachelor ’ s in business management . In addition , Gilbert is currently a part-time officer for the Elkhart Lake Police Department .
Sue Zittlow became associate dean in the College of Business in April 2020 . Before then , she was vice president of workforce and leadership development for the Greater Green Bay Chamber . While new to the NWTC associate dean role , Zittlow has over 15 years of previous experience at the College and is happy to be back . During her previous tenure at NWTC , Zittlow worked in staff and organizational development and in learning solutions . She is passionate about education , student success , partnering with businesses , and building a thriving community .
Tara Cribb joined NWTC as media relations strategist in February 2021 . She brings 10 years of awardwinning experience in public relations , event marketing , social media , and influencer relations . With a brand , agency , and editorial background , Cribb has worked with companies including Kohl ’ s , Dominican Republic Ministry of Tourism , Carmex , Maine Office of Tourism , Crunchmaster , Johnson Controls , Conde Nast , and many more . She holds a Bachelor of Strategic Communications in public relations and mass communications from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee .
