Elevating the future together
Community and business members from across Door and Kewaunee counties gathered at NWTC Sturgeon Bay for a roundtable discussion aimed at shaping the region’ s educational and workforce future. Participants exchanged ideas on how local organizations, schools, and employers can partner with NWTC to expand college access, strengthen support for students, and better align training programs with regional workforce needs.
Rather than focusing on quick fixes, the event encouraged thoughtful dialogue and collaboration. Attendees shared their insights on what their communities need to thrive now and in the decade ahead, helping lay the groundwork for stronger partnerships and opportunities throughout the region. The discussion was facilitated by Dr. Laura King, NWTC vice president of Strategy and Innovation.
Building on this momentum, NWTC plans to continue working side by side with local partners to advance innovation, expand opportunity, and elevate Northeast Wisconsin for years to come.
