Dr . Kathryn Rogalski selected for Aspen Rising Presidents Fellowship
Dr . Kathryn Rogalski , NWTC ’ s vice president of Learning , was one of 40 community college leaders selected for the 2021-22 Aspen Rising Presidents Fellowship . The highly selective leadership program prepares the next generation of community college presidents to achieve higher , champion equitable student success strategies , embrace cultural change , and partner with other organizations for collective action . Starting in November , the 10-month fellowship consists of seminars from the Aspen Institute and Stanford University , a capstone project that focuses on crafting a distinct presidential perspective on student success , and mentorship from nationally recognized current and former community college presidents . When asked about her selection , Dr . Rogalski said , “ It is an honor to be among this cohort of exceptional leaders across the nation who share the same commitment to equity , access , and success for community and technical college students .”

The NWTC website gets a refresh
In August , the College launched its new “ mobile-first ” website . With over half of NWTC ’ s website traffic coming from mobile devices , the new design allows the College to meet students where they are and offer a seamless browsing experience across all devices .
