O ur opportunity
to quiz Father Christmas whilst he took a well-earned holiday before preparing for
Christmas, here is what they had to say: anything with dancing and singing and so does Mrs

What is your favorite food?
I like all food especially Brussel sprouts, of course I
love my mince pies and a big dinner (I think most
people call it a Christmas dinner but I just call it
dinner). What do you like to wear?
There is very deep snow at the North Pole so I do
need to wear my big hat, warm boots and my big
coat. But when I am on holiday in the sun I wear my
‘Santa Shorts’ and plenty of sun cream.
What time do you go to bed?
I go to bed when I am sleepy. But if I am having an
early morning wake-up from the Reindeer (they
wake up at 5am and they shout until they are fed)
then I go to bed at 9pm. Why do you say ho, ho, ho?
That is my laugh, have you noticed that different
people laugh in different ways? I always give a very
big belly laugh HO, HO, HO.
What do the reindeer like to eat?
The Reindeer eat absolutely anything (they once ate a
whole wardrobe of elf shoes) but they do love
Reindeer food and moss the most.
How old are you?
I am 257 years young.
What is your favorite TV show?
I do like X Factor and Strictly Come Dancing. I love
Are you always happy?
All of the time. Happiness is a gift from all the boys
and girls which makes me smile all year round.
Where do you go on holiday?
Mrs Claus and I like to go somewhere sunny and
bright. We don’t go by sleigh when we are on holiday,
(we like to give the reindeer a nice rest), instead we
fly by airplane or helicopter.
