Dear Dr. Markham, When the news of your retirement reached us, we all had to pause, take a breath and let it sink in. We immediately thought about all the great things you have done for our children and our community. Your unwavering support and dedication towards making Mill Creek High School the best high school in the country is unquestioned. Without a doubt, you have made your mark on our community, our state and our country through your dedication to your students and our children during their time at Mill Creek High School. You have guided, inspired and shaped our children in ways that can never be measured! A thank you is simply not enough …. Your mark on Mill Creek High School will be forever, as your impact on your staff, students and parents has been! As Mill Creek High School opened, it was believed that the high school stadium should and would be a central point of our community, and that it has been! The name of Mill Creek Community Stadium reflected your commitment to community in every sense of the word. The stadium has hosted countless events and become a focus for our children. It is a place to gather for athletic competition, for fund-raisers and fun, and a place to celebrate accomplishments and goals met. Dr. Markham, you will forever be tied to this school and to this stadium!
