Fresh Visions supports counselling services for young people who need specialist support and care . This valuable work couldn ’ t continue without your ongoing support .
We ’ ve supported 305 victims of domestic abuse in our recent phase of counselling work providing therapeutic support to rebuild traumatised lives

Thanks to your amazing support we ’ re continuing to transform young lives

Jenny * was a traumatised child . She witnessed physical , sexual and psychological abuse from her father to her mother . She had a lot of anger which she displayed physically towards all those around her . She was a selective mute communicating only with grunts .
She was referred to First Steps Counselling service where she was given time and support . Our Fresh Visions Senior Counsellor says “ Jenny has started to develop relationships again and is starting to be able to communicate with others . She is really benefiting from the support First Steps offers ”.
Jasmine * was referred as having night terrors and was very aggressive to other children in nursery school . Our counselling service engaged and took time to tailor support to her needs .
Play therapy helped her express her fears and anger safely and in turn the loving little girl returned and her behaviour improved . “ It ’ s an ongoing journey but we ’ re able to help her move through it ”. - Fresh Visions Child Counsellor
