Petteway Promotion
We are pleased to announce the official promotion of the Reverend Otis J. Petteway III to the
position of Executive Pastor. Reverend Petteway has most recently served as Associate Pastor for
Administrative Services.
He also serves as Campus Pastor for Genesis Church- Lake Jackson, TX. Pastor Petteway began
his ministry at Genesis in 2012, as Youth Pastor and full-time administrative assistant/ graphic
designer.
As Executive Pastor, he will serve as the chief operating officer with a wide range of adminis-
trative and ministry responsibilities. Through competence, diligence and loyalty, Pastor Otis
has shown himself more than ready for the opportunities and challenges that this new position
entails.
Pastor Otis, a native of Bay City, TX, was licensed to
preach in 2009 and ordained by the Genesis Church
in 2014. He is currently competing his undergrad-
uate studies at Midwestern Baptist College & Semi-
nary (Kansas City, MO) while gaining unique min-
istry training under the tutelage of Dr. Williams.

his work here at Genesis undergirding the vision of
our Founding Pastor.
