Bend Your Knees It was about 2am when I started thinking about the Daily Love today, and I asked God to give me something that was for His people. He told me that those of us that are struggling with things and carrying stuff, we are packing it the wrong way. We are walking around with heavy stuff on our chest and we don’t know why we are hurting. It’s because you can’t carry heavy weight on your chest unless you bend your knees. It’s power in you that can only come out when you bend your knees. But not only bend your knees when you are packing heavy stuff, but you bend your knees when you are picking it up. It’s dangerous for you to let someone hand you their stuff without knowing if it’s to heavy for you. Sometimes we have to tell people, “I really wish I could help you, but what you are packing, I can’t carry.” So, just remember to keep from letting things weigh you down, bend your knees, PRAY ABOUT IT. Before you get upset and try to throw in the towel, bend your knees. The best part about it is, if you can’t get it with your knees bent, then that’s the best sign to show you to LEAVE IT THERE. WE need to learn to have peace about things and be able to let some stuff go. We are packing some of other people things that even they have let go of. So, I leave you with the words to this song, and I hope that it helps you through your day: Makes no difference what the problem, (I can go to God in prayer). Yes, I have this blessed assurance, (I can go to God in prayer). He will take my gloom and sorrow, (turn them into light). He will comfort, strengthen and keep me, (I can go to God in prayer) Take it to God. 25
