Tell me about yourself?
Antonio (Tony) was born in Opelousas, Louisiana in 1959 to Emile and Dorothy Malveaux.
LaDonna is a native Houstonian, born in 1960 to
Robert Henry and Luvenia Lewis.
They have been married for 35 years. They have 7
awesome children (Juan, Antonio Jr., Ashton, Arica, Alyska, Aaron and Andrew) and 4 grandchildren (Juan Jr., Jayden, Jordan, and Chase). They
have been able to sustain a 35 year relationship
by putting God first, communicating, and realizing they can agree to disagree. Antonio (Tony)
likes fishing and sports, with his favorite sport
being basketball. His glory years were when he
played for Wheatley High School, leading his
team to the state championships as a junior in
1978. He then went on to play college basketball.
Antonio accepted his call into ministry in 2004,
received his license to preach in 2006 and was
ordained into ministry in 2014. LaDonna graduated from Forest Brook High School and was a
member of the school’s highly acclaimed marching band. She loves shopping, cosmetics, and
encouraging women.
They’ve been partners with Dr. Michael P. Williams’ ministry for 23 years.

What would you say are the benefits of having an
active prayer life?
The benefits of having an active prayer life are being
able to express our gratitude for the things God is
doing in our lives, it reduces stress and promotes
a healthy relationship with God. Through times of
challenges and difficulties it also gives us the assurance that God is real.
If you could give some advice to someone considering joining the ministry what would it be?
We would advise them to get ready to become a partner in a dynamic ministry where the Word of God is
What are your favorite scriptures?
Proverb 3:5 “Trust in the Lord with all your heart rightly divided. We would ask them if they are ready
and lean not to your own understanding” (Tony) to grow spiritually and mentally then Genesis is the
church for you because we have a pastor that is after
Philippians 4:13 “I can do all things through
God’s own heart.

How would you describe your prayer life?
Our prayer life is daily and consistent. Communicating with God has helped us to grow spiritually and mentally. Through the journeys of life,
our prayer life has developed into an stronger,
healthier and closer relationship with God.
How has prayer changed your life?
Prayer has changed our life for the better. We
have been the recipients of many miracles and

What drew you to the Genesis Church?
We were first introduced to the ministry through
their radio ministry. After attending a week of a
very dynamic workshop at Joy Tabernacle, we were
so overwhelmed with the amazing teaching and
inviting spirit that we joined under Pastor Williams’
leadership in 1993.
