After countless
attempts to break
into the radio
industry, Thabo
finally gets her
own show on
1 Nation FM.

The radio industry can be a
‘tough terrain’ to break into and
Thabo Tlomatsana knows this
very well. The 30-year-old from
Polokwane tried countless times
to get on the airwaves but the
doors were not opened when
she knocked. “Prior to 1 Nation
FM I was a voice over artist for
other local radio stations, I had
been trying to break into the ra-
dio industry, but it wasn’t easy; I
am truly grateful to 1 Nation FM
for making this dream of mine
come true,” she says graceful-
ly. It was in 2018 when Thabo’s
dream finally came true after
joining Polokwane’s first talk
radio station. “I was too excited
and was the first person to go
on air on 1 Nation FM,”
she remembers.
