Academy Hosts ABCC Training

n July 29th, investigators from the Massachusetts Alcohol Beverage Control Commission (ABCC) held a training seminar for state and local law enforcement officials at the Massachusetts State Police Academy. The training included liquor control laws as they apply to patrol officers, authority to search licensed premises, and ABCC regulations. A significant portion of the training involved recognition of fraudulent identification cards, passports, and drivers licenses. The training was attended by several different law enforcement agencies including troopers from across the state, campus police officers, and officers from local agencies including Orleans Police Department, New Bedford Police Department ??5????????A??????????? ?????
