“
It’s been an
ongoing battle I’ve
had with injuries
”
TYLER BEREMAN
When healing up from injuries,
as every rider knows, you sit
impatiently X-ing off days in the
calendar, and watching the time
tick by. Injuries are a major part
of the sport, and many say that
it comes with the territory and
that is very true. If you’ve ridden
a dirt bike, chances are at some
point you’ve laid it down, cased
a jump, looped out, or tangled
with another rider and hit the dirt.
This can happen to the best of
riders, even top pros like Ricky
Carmichael, Jeremy McGrath, and
Ryan Villopoto.
After healing up from his tailbone
injury at the end of 2011, Bereman
signed with a factory amateur
team, who was on board to
support him in his second year as
an amateur pro. With a sponsor
like DC Shoes and mentoring from
the king of supercross himself,
Jeremy McGrath, he was on his
way to solidifying himself as a
credible racer. Unfortunately for
Tyler, tragedy would set him back
- again.

I qualified for Loretta’s again and
had my sights firmly set on getting
back on top of my game, when I
was dealt another blow.” Bereman
says. “I had an unfortunate event
at a race up in northern California
on Memorial Day. I was passing
another rider when he fell in front
of me, hi 2&
