HOW TO... BUILD A JUMP
Step 7. Breaking it in. You’ve now
cleared your jump and have stopped to
catch your breath and take a break. The
next thing to do is to touch up everything
you’ve already shovelled and repack it.
This is the part I have dubbed the ‘breaking
in’ phase and you will want to do this
process several times. The more times you
hit it and repack your jump, the better. All
this gets you one step closer to owning your
masterpiece.
Step 8. Consult your cameraman. After
you’ve broken the jump in, it’s good to
observe all the angles of the cameraman,
to see what kind of shots he’s getting. You
can then pick out the best angles and have
them go back to that spot, where you can
throw your best tricks for the ultimate shots.
