Nitro is the most amazing
opportunity to ever happen to me.
Being involved with them means
I’m able to keep moving forward
with my riding as well as support
myself and my projects. It’s a
pretty surreal situation.
My riding has got so much
better since I went on tour. The
atmosphere and environment, all
the guys, the crowd, the way the
show is put together, the fireworks
and big screens…. bro, it’s like
Christmas every day.
Hahaha! What’s the best
experience you’ve had with
Nitro?

The big tours where we do twenty
shows in four weeks are tough,
but to come out the other end
after doing twelve of my toughest
tricks over 40-50ft gaps is an
awesome feeling.
South Africa and Europe are at
the top of my list of favourite
places, and performing at
Madison Square Garden and the

next level.
And now you’re like a regular
guy for Nitro. As in, you’re part
of the TV crew.
Yeah it’s pretty f***ed up that
I’m one of the characters on
the show (laughs)! I guess I was
always one of the guys who gave
it a shot when most people were
too scared to get involved with a
stunt. I’m kinda holding it down
for the old fellas. I put it down to
a good diet, good genes (thanks
Mum and Dad), rugby and a good
Kiwi upbringing (laughs). It’s a
good buzz. Doing TV has made
me grow as a person and has
