HOW TO... FIT MX GRAPHICS
Any deep scratches can be tidied
up by scrap ing a knife blade acros s
paral lel to the surface. It doesn’t
need to be perfe ct but if you can
remove any lumps you’ll get a much
bette r finish and the decal s will
stick a lot more firmly.

If your placement is perfe ct but you
find a few air bubble s, you
don’t neces sarily have to peel the whole
piece back and try
again . Air bubble s close to the edge of
a sticke r can often be
work ed out gradu ally with press ure.
Smaller, more central
ones are often more of a proble m - but
they can be prick ed
with a needle or sharp knife and deflat
ed. Give these areas
partic ular atten tion when you’re press
ing down the decal s.
8. Once all the pieces are on have a final look over the
bike, giving everything a last press down and tackling
any rogue air bubbles. Make sure you allow at least 24
hours before you go for a ride, and it doesn’t hurt to
give the edges another press down before you go.
