Marko Grilc How do the GriLogs you make at the moment compare? I feel like what we’re making right now is a step closer to real life. We’re showing how we are living – not just the best snowboarding but also a bit more behind the scenes. I think we’ve got a similar plan for this season and I can’t wait to get into it. You’re about a year on from serious injury, how are you feeling? How was the recovery? I was pretty lucky last year that I didn’t get more hurt with the crazy injury that I had. I worked hard rehabbing but the second I stepped back on my board it was all worth it. I feel great right now and I am glad I’m shredding again. Has it changed anything about how you ride? Not really. I feel like I just take it a little bit more easy while I am warming up for the main season, but nowadays I don’t even think about it anymore when I ride. How has having kids affected your riding? Is it tough to fit in with the travelling? I definitely feel that I should spend more time riding with the kids, but it is my goal to bring them more into snowboarding. Hopefully we get to go on some cool trips together soon as well. I think that every snowboarder should share their passion with their kids. It doesn’t necessarily have to lead to them being as into snowboarding, but hopefully they get the chance to be as hyped on something as we are on riding. Any sign of them following in your footsteps? I don’t really care if they follow my footsteps. But I’ll be really stoked if they enjoy going to the mountains, and that we could go shred together when they get older. u
